U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Scott Sabau, a pilot with Patrol Squadron 47 from Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay, helps adjust a vest on Japan Self Defense Forces' (JSDF) Cmdr. Nobuhiko Morita at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. Morita is the Deployment Air Force for Counter-Piracy Enforcement unit flight division chief. DAPE personnel recently toured the squadron's P-3 aircraft to share best practices with the crew and learn more about the avionic's system. CJTF-HOA's mission includes stabilizing and strengthening security in East Africa through military-to-military engagements with partner nations.
