Corporal Josh Karban, fire team leader, Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, and a native of Cheyenne, Wyo., provides security during a noncombatant evacuation operation training exercise here, Oct. 18, 2013. The Bravo Co. Marines and corpsmen treated ill or injured role-players during the exercise and also provided food and water. NEOs are conducted to assist in evacuating noncombatants, service members and third country nationals from locations in a host foreign nation to an appropriate safe haven or the United States when they are put into danger.
