Adjutant General of North Carolina Army Maj. Gen. Greg Lusk congratulates a Botswana Defence Force (BDF) soldier for a job well done in a recent visit Lusk made during a State Partnership Program (SPP) engagement in the southern Africa country. The North Carolina National Guard conducted nearly twice as many SPP engagements in 2013. As mobilizations overseas continue to trend downward, the NCNG continues to examine ways in which they can continue to sustain their current readiness and training proficiencies by using their SPP.
