Master Sgt. Brian Landrum cleans a weather radar filter on Forward Operating Base Mazar-E-Sharif, Afghanistan. Because of the debris in the air here, the filters must be emptied and cleaned at least once a month to keep the radar running. Airmen assigned to the 19th Expeditionary Weather Squadron are embedded throughout Afghanistan with Army units. Landrum is deployed from Joint Base Lewis McCord, Wash., and a native of Temecula, Calif. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Staff Sgt. Stephenie Wade)
