North Carolina National Guard Soldiers, Spc. Justin Roddy (right), Spc. Caleb Enloe (left front), and Pvt. Jairen Thomas clean their weapons at the qualification range at Camp Butner National Guard Training Center at Stem, N.C., on the first weekend of November. In addition to conducting individual weapons qualification, the 505th Engineer Battalion also celebrated a change of command as well as they welcomed Lt. Col. Christina M. Moore as their new commander. The 505th was one of many NCNG units to perform their first weekend training events since the partial Federal Government shutdown in early October.
