Soldiers of the North Carolina National Guard’s 1st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 130th Aviation Regiment are cheered on by fellow Guardsmen as the perform the two-mile run at their headquarters near Raleigh-Durham International Airport in Morrisville, N.C., on the first weekend of November. The 130th executed Individual Soldier Readiness which evaluates Soldier’s overall health, by testing their strength, physical fitness levels, stamina and general medical readiness. The 1-130th was one of many NCNG units to perform their first weekend training events since the partial Federal Government shutdown in early October.
