Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy Mike Stevens speaks with Anne Feller, wife of legendary baseball player Bob Feller, during the reception for the first annual Bob Feller Act of Valor Award ceremony at the U.S. Navy Memorial. The ceremony honored the first recipients of the award in three categories: a Baseball Hall of Fame member, an active pro baseball player, and an active chief petty officer. The award recipients were Yogi Berra, elected to the Hall of Fame in 1972, Justin Verlander, pitcher for the Detroit Tigers, and Chief Hospital Corpsman Garth Sinclair, a dive instructor.
