Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy Mike Stevens attends the Bob Feller Act of Valor Award ceremony at Navy Memorial. The ceremony honored the first recipients of the award in three categories: a Baseball Hall of Fame member, an active pro baseball player, and an active chief petty officer. The award recipients were Yogi Berra, elected to the Hall of Fame in 1972, Justin Verlander, pitcher for the Detroit Tigers, and Chief Hospital Corpsman Garth Sinclair, a dive instructor.
