Friends and family bid farewell to Michigan Army National Guard soldiers from the 1460th Transportation Company on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 2:00 p.m. from Midland Dow High School located at 3901 N. Saginaw Rd. in Midland.
The 1460th Transportation Company holds a formation at the start of the ceremony.
The 1460th Transportation Company will deploy first to Fort Hood, Texas for mobilization training before leaving for Afghanistan. The company will perform transportation missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
