Children’s excitement for the holidays is in full swing as Col. John Farnam, the commanding officer of Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., and Brig. Gen. Mark Wise, the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing assistant commander, kicked off the holiday season with Santa and the Grinch by lighting the station’s Christmas tree at the Post Exchange Nov. 23.
