Staff Sgt. Logan Ray, military working dog handler assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, check vehicles with his military dog, Lenox, Aug. 19, 2008, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. Sergeant Ray and the rest of his team ensure the safety and security of the air base by carefully inspecting all incoming vehicles for explosives and weapons. Sergeant Ray, a native of Hyattsville, Md., is deployed from Andrews Air Force Base, Md., in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
