The Louisiana National Guard 256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team depart the staging area at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center near Gonzales, La. The convoy will be escorted by the Louisiana State Police and is scheduled to arrive at the Morial Convention Center in Morial Convention Center which will serve as the main staging area for personnel and equipment preparing for the potential impact of Hurricane Gustav.
