Sergeant Anthony Arroyo, a drill instructor at Marine Corps Recruiting Depot San Diego and a native of Cleveland, Ohio, challenged Ty Barrett, offensive tackle from Dallas, Texas, to push through his pain and finish the workout strong, at the first practice of the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl week Jan. 1, 2014, in Santa Ana, Calif. The drill instructors come to the practices to push these elite players and to teach them skills, such as, leadership, self-confidence, and teamwork, they can use on and off the gridiron. The 2014 SFAAB will be held on Jan. 5 at 6 p.m. in Carson, Calif. The game will be played at the StubHub Center and aired live on Fox Sports 1 Network. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
