Jeffery Farrar, a native of Upland, Calif., and cornerback for the Semper Fidelis All-American West Team, focuses on his technique against a wide receiver in the first practice of the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl Jan.1, 2014, in Santa Ana, Calif. The players are applying the skills, such as, leadership, self-confidence and teamwork, on the practice field this week so they can take a victory on Sunday, but the Marines goal is the players take the skills and apply them to the rest of their lives. The 2014 SFAAB will be held on Jan. 5 at 6 p.m. in Carson, Calif. The game will be played at the StubHub Center and aired live on Fox Sports 1 Network. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl.
