An element of the U.S. Navy flight demonstration team, the Blue Angel's C-130T Hercules, nicknamed “Fat Albert” rests on the flight line of Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz. For the first time, the “Fat Albert” all-Marine crew, comprised of five enlisted and three pilots, conducted their annual winter training aboard the air station which usually takes place in Texas and Florida. “In the past we’ve done our winter training in different locations, but the conditions here are just beautiful,” said Staff Sgt. Christian Villalobos, a flight mechanic for the Blue Angels. “[We] come out every day and get our training knocked out; we train about 4 hours a day and get about three demos done every day.”
