Customers sit in the waiting room and fill out paperwork for tax preparers to help better assist them at the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Center Feb. 3. The center is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There are 18 Marines working during the day and 12 at night. VITA has a new appointment system where customers can call in to make an appointment at the center.
