U.S Army Spc. Rebekah Montes, a combat medic from the 335th MC Company U.S. Army Reserve in Puerto Rico, assist a Guatemalan navy seaman to administer an intravenous solution during a tactical combat lifesaver subject matter expert exchange on July 30. U.S. Army South deployed a small team of experts to Guatemala to participate on a tactical combat life saver subject matter expert exchange (SMEE). This subject matter expert exchange involved personnel from Guatemala and U.S. Army South working together to share combat medical tactics, techniques and information to enhance and sustain their military medical program and capability.
