A Marine with 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, provides security on top of a bluff after landing at the beach during the Marine Corps Combat Readiness Exercise at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Feb. 4, 2014. The weeklong MCCRE required the Marines to quickly adapt to the terrain after landing on shore from assault amphibious vehicles.
