Bruce Pettaway, field artilleryman with 2nd Battalion, 11th Marines, aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., Feb 4., to prepare for their attachment to 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. After being sprayed, the Marines run a detaining course to ensure they can complete their mission while being contaminated. Serna is from Pomona, Calif., and Pettaway is from Los Angeles.
