Lance Cpl. Bruce Pettaway, field artilleryman with 2nd Battalion, 11th Marines, Kilo company, from Los Angeles, runs Oleoresin Capsicum spray course aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., Feb. 4, as a part of non-lethal weapons training in preparation for their upcoming involvement with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. After being sprayed, the Marines run a detaining course to ensure they can complete their mission while being contaminated.
