Corporal Trevor Bissett, supply noncommissioned officer with 1st Marine Regiment, said his goodbyes to Brandi Garten at a farewell for the regiment aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton Feb. 10, 2014. Bissett, a native of Gardner, Kan., is part of the last regiment to deploy in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. The regiment, as Task Force Belleau Wood, will be in charge of the safety of Camp Bastion and Camp Leatherneck in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
