    U.S. Navy Command Master Chief Mark Rudes, U.S. Pacific Command, signs the Maldivian Coast Guard Ship Ghazee's guest book after receiving a tour of the ship from Maldivian Coast Guard 1st Lt. Ahmed Naifu in the Indian Ocean outside of Male, Maldives, Feb. 9, 2014. Rudes was in Male discussing current and future training exchange opportunities for Maldivian and U.S. Pacific Command personnel. Maldivian and U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific Marines have been taking part in a non-commissioned officer development program which creates a setting for professional military and cultural exchanges, as well as provides both forces an opportunity to train in unfamiliar settings and gain experience with different tactics, techniques and procedures.
