Soldiers of 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 173rd BSB, they prepare to evacuate a simulated wounded soldier with a UH-60 Black Hawk medical evacuation helicopter “MEDVAC” , C.co 1-214 Aviation Regiment from Landstuhl, Germany, during a combat lifesaver training (CLS) under the supervision of the specialist crew of the helicopter, at Monte Romano. The major training area is the largest Italian army training area on the Italian peninsula and is located about 90 miles northeast of Rome.
