Lance Cpl. Robert A. Lisinichia fills a large hole in an area of a newly developed landing zone Feb. 11 at Ban Chan Krem, Kingdom of Thailand during Exercise Cobra Gold. Cobra Gold is a multinational and multiservice exercise, which takes place annually in the Kingdom of Thailand and was developed by the Thai and U.S. militaries. An engineer construction team made up of Royal Thai and U.S. Marines spent their portion of the exercise improving upon the training and maneuver areas in preparation for Cobra Gold’s culminating event, a combined arms live-fire exercise. Lisinichia is an engineer equipment operator with Combat Assault Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
