Service members from the U.S. Army and the Royal Thai Armed Forces meet to plan an upcoming airborne assault exercise during Exercise Cobra Gold 2014 that will be conducted at the Royal Thai Air Force Base, Khok Kathiam in Lop Buri, Kingdom of Thailand Feb. 14. The 4-25th is scheduled to drop nearly 400 of their paratroopers into Thailand to rehearse seizing an airfield for follow-on operations. CG14 is a multinational exercise designed to enhance interoperability among partner nations that share common interests in peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region. The air drop will incorporate a combined force of Royal Thai Armed Forces members and members of the U.S. Army’s 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division.
