A U.S. Marine assault amphibious vehicle splashes off of the USS Denver (LPD-9) as part of a demonstration of an amphibious assault Feb. 14 during Exercise Cobra Gold 2014. The AAV and the Denver are participating in CG 14 which is a multinational exercise conducted annually to promote interoperability between participating nations.
