Schulz demonstrates how to prepare an explosive detonator to Royal Thai Navy Petty Officer’s 1st Class Kemjaer Nakprom, left, and Prajak Mikaew, center, Feb. 17 at Ban Chan Krem, Kingdom of Thailand during Exercise Cobra Gold. The day’s training was intended to demonstrate how explosive ordinance disposal units prepare, construct and detonate some of their breaching charges and explain their underlying fundamentals. Nakprom and Mikaew are Royal Thai Navy EOD technicians. Schulz is an EOD technician with 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
