Camouflage netting catches several inches of snow and freezing rain during a Marine Air Support Squadron 1 direct support air center drill at Cherry Point Feb. 11. Cherry Point scaled back operations temporarily for all but essential personnel during the ice and snowstorm Feb. 11-13, 2014. While the air station is operational during all weather conditions year around, 24-hours a day, hazardous road conditions across the surrounding area delayed or halted normal flight operations and station services.
