An MH-60R Seahawk helicopter from Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 51, takes off from Naval Air Facility (NAF) Atsugi en route to the Kanagawa Prefectural Government’s “Big Rescue” joint mass casualty and earthquake response drill held at Shonan Kaigan Park. The evolution's main Staging Care Unit (SCU) was established on JMSDF Air Base Atsugi and consisted of emergency support personnel from the surrounding cities, Commander, Naval Forces Japan and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
