First Lt. Jason Doro of Portage, Wis., shares a quiet moment with his 9-year-old daughter Abigail following a formal sendoff ceremony Feb. 22 at Camp Williams, Wis. Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch, Maj. Gen. Don Dunbar, Wisconsin adjutant general, and other senior Wisconsin Army National Guard leaders joined family and friends in sending more than 60 soldiers of the 32nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team off for a Middle East deployment. Some of the soldiers will conduct base security operations in Kuwait, while others will conduct military engagement missions with representatives from regional military organizations.
