The women’s group participated in the annual Running of the Reindeer event in downtown Anchorage, March 1, 2014. The Toys for Tots fundraiser is a part of the Fur Rondy winter festival. During the Fur Rondy Festival, Alaskan’s started their own version of Pamplona, Spain’s “Running of the Bulls” by running throughout the snowy streets of Anchorage dodging and ducking the hoofed animals.
