A U.S. Army Soldier fires his M-4 Rifle down range during the Best Warrior Competition at the Kaneohe Bay Range Training Facility Feb. 28, 2014, at Marine Corps Base Hawaii. The Best Warrior Competition challenged Army National Guard soldiers and U.S. Army Reserve Pacific soldiers on weapon assembly, reactive fire, care under fire, visual signaling techniques, chemical and biological hazard reaction, escalation of force, movement under fire, land navigation and combatives. The competition is designed to test elite soldiers in their Army aptitude ranging from warfare simulations, board interviews, physical fitness tests and battle drills.
