Col. Jonathan D. Covington takes a moment to reflect on over 30 years of military service March 10 at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma following his final flight before officially retiring. The final flight, a tradition for Marine aviators, serves as a sentimental farewell for retiring pilots. Covington was the deputy commander of Marine Corps Installations Pacific.
