Brig. Gen. Peter J. Talleri, commander of the Defense Distribution Center, participates in a mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicle training course while visiting Camp Taqaddum, Sept. 20, 2008. During the visit to learn more about the duties and responsibilities of 1st Marine Logistics Group, Talleri, 51, from Butler, Pa., toured the base with Brig. Gen. Robert R. Ruark, 48, 1st MLG commanding general, from Salem, Ohio. "Gen. Talleri wants to receive information from the field to provide better support from the position he's in," said Army 1st Lt. Dustin W. Flowers, 33, aide-de-camp, Defense Distribution Center, from Jackson, Wyo.
