U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Christian Moreno, left, Republic of Korea Marine Staff Sgt. Kim Do-Hyung, center, and U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Mathew N. Mena work together to prepare a fighting position March 28 at Doksu-ri Beach in Pohang, Republic of Korea in preparation for the amphibious assault portion of exercise Ssang Yong 2014. The Marines will be part of the oppositional force during the amphibious assault, adding realism for the Marines performing the landing. Ssang Yong exercises the interoperability and combined amphibious capabilities of the ROK and U.S. Navy and Marine Corps forces. Kim is a squad leader with 1st Battalion, 2nd Regiment, 1st ROK Marine Corps Division.
