Republic of Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Jang Seop So digs a fighting position March 28 at Doksu-ri Beach in Pohang, Republic of Korea in preparation for the amphibious assault portion of exercise Ssang Yong 2014. Jang, as well as Marines from the ROK and U.S. will be the oppositional force during the amphibious assault. Ssang Yong demonstrates the ROK and U.S. Navy and Marine Corps’ responsive amphibious and expeditionary capabilities from the sea.
