Pilots assigned to the "Fighting Redcocks" of Strike Fighter Squadron 22 maneuver an F/A-18F Super Hornet into the six-pack after performing an arrested landing on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. The six-pack is an area on the flight deck, forward of the island, where aircraft are temporarily parked while awaiting the completion of the landing cycle. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
