Rounds are ready for Marines with II Marine Expeditionary Force (Forward) to fire during the Combat Marksmanship Program Sept. 9, 2008. Due to the dynamic nature of urban combat, CMP, which teaches shooters to fire while pivoting and on the move, is a predeployment training requirement for II MEF (Fwd) Marines slated to go to Iraq early next year.
