Marines from Kilo Company, Battalion Landing Team, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, perform buddy rushes during squad fire and maneuver training, Oct. 3, 2008, aboard Fort Pickett, Va. The training was part of a larger exercise known as off-site training and is the unit's first major training evolution during the 22nd MEU's pre-deployment training cycle. BLT 3/2 is the Ground Combat Element of the 22nd MEU, which is scheduled for a six-month deployment early next year.
