Maj. Gen. David Sprynczynatyk, North Dakota adjutant general, returns a salute from several senior leaders of the Togolese Armed Forces during a State Partnership Program signing ceremony in Lome, Togo, April 4, 2014. The ceremony formalized the North Dakota National Guard's association with the Togolese Republic under the auspices of the National Guard Bureau's State Partnership Program. The partnership is the third of its kind for the North Dakota National Guard who is also partnered with the neighboring west African nations of Ghana and Benin.
