    Cpl. Scott D. Simpish, a radio operator with Kilo Company, Battalion Landing Team, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, and native of Richmond, Va., calls in fire support during a Fire Support Interoperability exercise, Oct. 15, 2008, aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C. The exercise integrated key elements of the 22nd MEU to hone fire support coordination and execution during pre-deployment training and while deployed. The 22nd MEU is currently conducting pre-deployment training and is scheduled to deploy this spring.
