Second Lt. Sarah H. Siekman, a quartermaster officer assigned to the 407th Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, dons her T11 parachute harness with assistance from her husband, 1st Lt. Brenden Siekman, on Pope Army Airfield, N.C., April 6. The Golden Griffins coordinated a battalion family day so that paratroopers’ loved ones could see an airborne jump, view displays of vehicles and equipment, and barbecue on the drop zone.
