The Aqur Quf Ziggurat, west of Baghdad, is considered one of the most well preserved religious historical monument in Iraq. Soldiers from Company C, 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, attached to 1st Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team "Warrior," 25th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad, walk up the stairs with members of the Aqur Quf Historical Society took a tour, Oct. 14, 2008, to make plans to repair the grounds and building surrounding the Ziggurat in order to be able to open the site to tourism.
