051119-N-2445C-127 Lt. Mark Dumas, from Waterbury, Conn., watches as USS Firebolt (PC 10) makes its approach along side USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) during a refueling replenishment. Both vessels are currently deployed in the North Arabian Gulf conducting maritime security operations (MSO). MSO set the conditions for security and stability in the maritime environment as well as complement the counter-terrorism and security efforts of regional nations. MSO deny international terrorists use of the maritime environment as a venue for attack or to transport personnel, weapons, or other material.
