    Staff Sgt. Edward Lawlor, military working dog handler assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, plays with Lenox prior to the beginning of their training Nov. 4 at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia. These 379 ESFS dog handlers provide the first line of defense for the base by detecting explosives and weapons. Lawlor, a native of Wolcott, Conn., is deployed from Andrews Air Force Base, Md.
