    Lenox, a Belgian Malinois, brings Staff Sgt. Logan Ray, military working dog handler assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, to the ground as his handler, Staff Sgt. Edward Lawlor, 379 ESFS military working dog handler, comes to his side to take control of the "suspect" during training at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia Nov. 4. These 379 ESFS dog handlers provide the first line of defense for the base by detecting explosives and weapons. Ray, a native of Bethesda, Md., and Lawlor, a native of Wolcott, Conn., both are deployed from Andrews Air Force Base, Md.
