Lt. Col. Robert Kiely inspects an EKG machine at Haditha Hospital during a key leader engagement, Oct. 30. During the visit, Kiely and fellow medical officers from the 345th Combat Support Hospital noted a lack of modern medical equipment in the Iraqi hospital. Through a partnership program between the two hospitals, U.S. military medical personnel hope to help the Iraqis return the hospital to its status as a state-of-art facility.
