Philippine Navy Capt. Ramon C. Renales, left, and U.S. Marine 1st Lt. Daniel B. Comito engage in a boodle fight at Malobago Elementary School in Guinobatan, Albay Province, Philippines, April 29. A boodle fight is a traditional meal that begins with everyone washing their hands before eating quickly with their fingers while standing. This boodle fight was during Exercise Balikatan, an annual training exercise that helps maintain a high level of interoperability and enhances military-to-military relations and combined combat capabilities. Renales is the commanding officer of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Joint Civil Military Operations Task Force, and Comito is the officer in charge of the engineering civic assistance program site with 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
