Brian Robert Selkowitz, Platoon 1026, Delta Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, sheds tears after being presented his Eagle, Globe and Anchor emblem by his drill instructor April 26, 2014, on Parris Island, S.C. Selkowitz, a 22-year-old from Orlando, Fla., trained for 11 long weeks to earn the privilege of being called Marine, and receiving his Marine Corps emblem symbolized his official induction into the Corps.
