Command Sgt. Maj. Lynward A. Hall and his wife, Cari, are honored by the 78th Troop Command’s commander, Brig. Gen. Craig McGalliard, during the change of responsibility for the command’s subordinate unit the 265th Support Group (Regional), located in Metter, Ga. As the first Georgia Army National Guard unit to be awarded a Navy Presidential Unit Citation for combat support, Hall was congratulated for his 38 years of loyal service to the Georgia National Guard and for being an example of excellence. “I believe what makes a man, or woman, successful is the folks they surround themselves with,” Hall said. “My privilege to rise through the ranks with this organization and grow with you is what has made me successful.” Command Sgt. Maj. Joe A. Jimmerson, as the incoming senior enlisted adviser to the 265th commander, Col. Lanita Kuhn, will lead the unit in support of the South Dakota National Guard’s annual training operation "Golden Coyote" beginning May 31. (Georgia Army National Guard photo by Staff Sgt. Tracy J.
